I am a York based pianist with many years experience in teaching, performing, accompanying, arranging and composing.

I have taught in schools and privately for over 30 years. Most recently, I have been teaching at York St John's University.

As a performer I play both as a soloist and in a variety of ensembles. I can play in a wide diversity of styles ranging from Classical to Jazz and Blues.
I frequently accompany for Music Examinations and have played for Young Musician of the Year.

I have been fascinated with Composition since I can remember. My proudest achievement to date has been writing a score to Buster Keaton’s silent classic “The General”, which I perform live to the film.
